Architect to design & build MTR stations (Head of Station Development) -

Far East 

The successful candidate will be responsible for detailed design and drawings preparation for the architectural design of metro rail stations (elevated & underground), depots, TPSS and metro infrastructures. Other responsibilities include:
 Providing technical expertise in station planning - including feasibility and planning, conceptual design, design development and implementation to full operationProvideing accurate design parameter for accurate project costing estimationEnsuring all aspects of the detailed design are developed to programme and budgetCo-ordinating with architects, associates and consultants to expedite the development of appropriate design solutions and documentation packages, compliant with statutory regulationsLiaising and strategizing on major issues with regard to local authorities and government agencies regarding approval requirements.Liaising and strategixing with client on major issues with regards to policies and operations requirementsCo-ordinating with the project team and providing timely design inputDriving the implementation and co-ordination of engineering technical inputs/measurements to the various aspects of the station constructionEnsuring the optimization of project resources, time and quality for its scheduled completion, commissioning and handoverAssimilating with the organisation's culture and business operation processesManaging the assigned projects to ensure the projects are executed accordingly, on time and within budget and the specified quality standards

Candidates should have a degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture/or equivalent as well as:
 A minimum of 20 years' hands-on architectural design experience as an engineering consultant, project management consultant or design team of turnkey contractor is essential.Experience in designing metro railway stations (elevated & underground) and ancillary building a mustExperience in the construction of metro/railway station is preferredIn-depth working knowledge of railway/ metro station planning applicable standards, specifications and procedures as well as health and safety and operational requirementsExperienced in tendering, concept, feasibility study and detailed design, construction and commissioning for metro railway projects and heavy civil infrastructure.

Additionally, knowledge of civil/structural, mechanical and electrical engineering in relation to metro rail stations would be an advantage ,as would good planning and project implementation skills. Applicants should also have knowledge of handling large-scale metro railway projects involving project design, planning, organising and execution of infrastructural works and building construction.

Building Services Engineer - Hong Kong

You will assist in directing and co-ordinating day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our projects in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for liaising between subcontractors, consultants and clients on co-ordination and programme issues.
 
Degree or Higher Diploma in Building Services or related disciplines
Minimum five years' relevant working experience and good technical skills
Proficient in English and Chinese, good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently with good problem-solving skills
